Community cashback, simply explained
On every stay booked on ZiYou, the guest pays a 13% service fee. ZiYou gives back up to 40% of it as cashback, on the guest's side as well as on the host's side: 10% to the person themselves, 5% to the person who referred them, 5% to that person's sponsor.
Example
For €1,000 of nights in France, the service fee is €130 (plus €26 VAT). €13 goes into the guest's wallet, €13 into the host's, and €6.50 into the wallet of each of their sponsors.
The rules
- Your wallet is credited after each completed stay.
- Each amount is valid for 18 months.
- It pays for stays on ZiYou: it cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.
- If a sponsor is missing, their share stays with ZiYou.

Frequently asked questions
How much does ZiYou cost?
For the host, nothing: 0% fees. The guest pays a service and payment fee of 13% of the nightly price, plus VAT, already included in the price shown.
Is the price shown the final price?
Yes. As soon as you enter your dates and number of guests, the price shown includes the nights, cleaning, the service and payment fee, tourist tax and VAT. Only the options you choose yourself (pet, linen, early arrival…) are added, and you see them before paying.
How does the wallet work?
After each completed stay, 10% of the service fee of your stay is credited to your wallet. Each amount is valid for 18 months and pays for your stays on ZiYou. The wallet cannot be withdrawn to a bank account.
What is referral?
When someone joins ZiYou with your code, you become their sponsor. On each of their completed stays, 5% of the service fee goes into your wallet, and 5% too on the stays of the people they refer in turn. Two circles, not one more. A sign-up alone earns nothing.
What if I cancel?
It depends on the conditions chosen by the host, shown on the listing: flexible (full refund up to 24 hours before arrival), moderate (up to 5 days before), strict (50% of the accommodation refunded up to 7 days before). The service fee is refunded in the same proportion as the rent, and the tourist tax always is. If the host cancels, you get a full refund.
Can I use ZiYou alongside other platforms?
Yes. Your ZiYou calendar syncs with your other platforms to avoid double bookings. You can also import your listing from its link, if you are its owner.

Elsewhere, fees go far away. At ZiYou, part of them comes back into your wallet.
